Carrigabruise National School is a rural school located just off the N3 about 3 miles from Virginia.

The present school was opened in 1963 with a major extension built in 2013.

Our Astro Pitch was officially opened by the then President of the GAA, Aogán Ó Féarghaíl on 9th October 2015.


Our Vision

Carrigabruise National School is a caring learning environment that focuses on engaging the pupils, endeavouring to have their happiness to the fore.  Pupils’ learning and all round development are paramount.  We seek to ensure all members of our school community work in partnership having pupils’ best interest at heart.
